About the Carousel

Create magical moments with the whole family on Ober Gatlinburg's enchanting carousel! Choose your favorite horse or a charming cup-shaper chair and enjoy a whimsical ride filled with laughter and smiles. The sparkling lights and vibrant colors create a fairytale atmosphere, perfect for capturing beautiful photos and making memories together. Children over 36" can ride independently.

  • Ride a merry-go-round horse or sit in a cup-shaped chair

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

  • Guests under 38 in (97 cm) tall must ride with a ticketed adult who is at least 18 years old. Guests 38 in tall or over may ride without an accompanying adult if all other ride requirements are met. 

  • Shoes required 

  • Must follow all staff instructions and safety commands 

  • One rider per animal 

  • Riders must be able to sit upright independently, maintain control of the upper torso, head, and neck, and remain forward-facing throughout the ride. 

  • Riding side-saddled is not permitted 

  • Safety restraints must be worn properly at all times and may not be defeated, loosened, or tampered with 

  • Loose articles must be secured 

  • Food and drink not permitted
